Kenya is Africa in microcosm: mountains, deserts, traditional tribal culture, beaches and coral reefs, and some of Africa’s best wildlife. Stunning landscapes set the scene: from Mount Kenya to the Masai Mara in The Great Rift Valley. Kenya’s wildlife preserves like the Masai Mara are among the best places to see lions, elephants, leopards and the famous “Great Migration” of wildebeest. In Kenya, volunteers can snorkel in search of unique marine life at the Marine National Park in Malindi or take a dhow (dugout canoe) fishing from the beautiful Lamu Island and swim at the picturesque Diyani Beach on the Indian Ocean coast. Many tribes still maintain their traditional lifestyles.

This is a great program for wildlife enthusiasts and those inclined to do community service.
