Victoria Falls Lion Rehabilitation and Conservation Project, Zimbabwe
As a volunteer on this project you will get involved in the vital research of lion behavior and enjoy hands-on work with lions in the world’s only significant program for their release into the wild. Volunteers will assist our staff with all aspects that go into caring for the animals in their charge. In addition, volunteers will be involved with a variety of fundamental conservation tasks in Victoria Falls National Park as well as presenting conservation education at a local primary school.
During your stay at Victoria Falls you will have the opportunity to enjoy exciting activities in Africa’s “adrenaline capital” and excursions to some of Zimbabwe’s spectacular sights.
NOTE: These are not included in your volunteering fee, but our coordinators are able to assist you with making the necessary booking arrangements.
